What is grace? Grace is "unmerited favor" from God. In the New Testament grace means God's love in action towards men. Grace means God moving heaven and earth to save sinners who could not lift a finger to save themelves. Grace is the receipt of a positive benefit that one does not deserve.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)
